Main Street Sports, a family owned and operated business since 1991, is now accepting applications for two jobs in Breckenridge, CO; full time (seasonal) ski techs & an assistant manager for the upcoming winter season. We specialize in high end ski wear and quality ski and snowboard rentals.
Work in a fun, friendly, high energy environment minutes from the slopes with the opportunity to ski or board at least 5 times a week. Our store is located a short 5 minute walk from the nearest lift. Staff can also take advantage of great employee deals offered by our many vendors including Spyder, Descente, Obermeyer, Salomon, Burton, Volkl, and Rossignol.

Assistant Manager Position:
As Assistant Manager you will work directly with the store Manager or Owner in a friendly non corporate environment.
Duties will include;
- Supervising a team of rental techs.
- Opening and closing the store
- Interacting with customer's
- Operating a cash register and closing out daily sales
- Setting up rental equipment
- Tuning skis
Applicants must have a minimum of one season Ski rental technician experience.
The position will pay a generous hourly rate (dependent on experience) with the potential of significant overtime. we will also provide a ski pass.
Main Street Sports is located a few minutes’ walk from the nearest ski lift and the successful candidate will have many opportunities to ski or board with our split shift schedule.
Ski tech position:
Successful candidates will be part of a friendly team working in a non-corporate environment.
Primary duties will include:
- Interacting with customer's
- Setting up rental equipment
- Tuning skis & boards
Previous experience is welcomed however we will train any employees new to the business.
The position will pay $15 per hour with the potential of significant overtime. We will also provide a ski pass.
We anticipate employment commencing late October.
Main Street Sports is located a few minutes’ walk from the nearest ski lift and will have many opportunities to ski or board with our split shift schedule.
We are dedicated to making sure our customers have the best on mountain experience as possible.
- This can be through our great rental program where we tune all equipment prior to it leaving the shop, or when we custom fit every aspect of the rental equipment for each individual customer.
- This can also be through our dedicated customer service with aligning customer needs and wants to be best Men's and Women's ski wear we sell. We want our clientele to be warm and dry all day while on the mountain.
